summer camp FAQ:

Frequently asked questions

How big is your camp?

We limit enrollment to ensure a balanced teacher-to-camper ratio and provide campers with a personalized experience. The age range is flexible and not set in stone (this is a common question with siblings).

Does my child need Music or Movement experience?

NO! This is their chance to get to learn about music, dance, and drama, or expand on their pre-existing knowledge. We are thrilled to see how the campers push themselves to new limits musically and physically. Once we have all of our sign ups, we have the flexibility to tailor all activities to the campers.

What instruments do you use?

We explore many different percussion instruments (Djembe, Boomwhackers, Drums..), Ukulele, Piano, and Singing (think Glee Club / Music Videos). We focus on one genre a day (Rock, Pop...etc) and pick our favourites to showcase at our concert on the last day of camp.

How much movement is involved?

Our teachers are experienced in dance, drama, yoga, and having FUN! Campers look forward to our 'dance party' breaks and games out on the Oakland playing field.

Are campers stuck indoors all day?

NO! We have picked De La Salle College because we have the music building to ourselves AND our own outdoor space! We are in and out of the building all day.

Do you offer early drop off / late pick up?

YES! We are flexible with times - just let us know what you need! There's no fee for campers who would like to be dropped off within 30 minutes prior to the start of camp, but ask that all campers are picked up within 15 minutes after the day ends.

Do we need to bring lunch / snacks?

Yes - we do not provide lunch and snacks due to allergies. We do provide a pizza lunch party on the last day of camp!

My teen is getting too old for camps. Do you offer volunteer hours for their high school requirements?

Yes we do. Thank you to all of our older students who have already volunteered!
